元器件交易网讯 5月27日消息，据外媒报道，Kantar WorldPanel咨询公司发布截至2014年4月的季度数据，数据显示三星在美国市场的份额紧追苹果，近乎持平。

　　三星已快追上苹果在美国的市场份额，其中苹果占有34.6%，三星占有34.1%。

　　Kantar WorldPanel has released figures forthe three months running up to April 2014, which show an increase in the numberof manufactures competing for the top spots in the European smartphone market.The report also shows Android remaining in the lead when it comes to overallshares of the smartphone market. Google has 70 percent in the five big Europeanmarkets and 51 percent in the US. While iOS retains a comfortable second placeacross the board, Windows Phone still climbs steadily as the underdog.

　　One of the larger beneficiaries of thislatest report regarding manufacturers is Huawei, which experienced a steep hikeof 123 percent in the big five European markets over the past year. Over inChina, local vendor Xiaomi outsold Samsung for the second time in April, withits RedMi device proving to be the popular choice among local consumers in thatregion.

　　Samsung has almost caught up with Apple inthe USA, with market shares of 34.1 percent and 34.6 percent respectively. Thegrowth of Android also brings fragmentation with multiple manufacturersattempting to compete for the top spot in Europe, the US and Asia. The platformwar itself is starting to heat up with Microsoft closing the gap on Apple's iOSwith hopes that Windows Phone 8.1 will solve the majority of its flaws.
