元器件交易网讯  5月4日消息，中国手机厂商目前正在通过加强他们的专利组合或者加入防御联盟等方式来预防专利威胁。

　　包括华为、中兴、TCL、酷派、联想、小米科技在内的中国手机供应商已成为相关专利持有人的目标。虽然华为和中兴两家公司在电信设备行业拥有众多核心专利，但这两家公司已经卷进了一些诉讼。而小米、酷派和联想由于专利保护不足更容易受到专利投诉。

　　联想与摩托罗拉合并后将进行专利组合。同时，小米和TCL纷纷在北京设立专利运营资金，而中兴通讯，酷派和TCL都加入了手机中国联盟来获得专利保护。（元器件交易网   白玉涛译）

　　China-based handset vendors have begun strengthening their patent portfolio or establishing defensive alliances to fend off increasing threats of patent complaints from international handset players or patent licensees, according to industry sources.

　　China's handset suppliers, including Huawei, ZTE, TCL, Coolpad, Lenovo and Xiaomi Technology have continued to strengthen their presence globally with their respective shipments reaching several tens of millions of units and therefore have become targets of related license holders, the sources explained.

　　Huawei and ZTE have been involved in a number of lawsuits although the two companies boast numerous core patents in the telecom equipment sector. However, Xiaomi, Coolpad and Lenovo are more vulnerable to patent complaints due to an insufficiency in patent protection, added the sources.

　　Lenovo will gain a boost in patent portfolio after completing its planned merger with Motorola Mobility, noted the sources.

　　Meanwhile, Xiaomi and TCL have invested in a patent operation fund set up in Beijing recently, while ZTE, Coolpad and TCL have joined the Mobile China Alliance for access to patent protection, said the sources.
