元器件交易网讯 3月31日消息，据外媒报道，咨询公司Gartner（高德纳）发布调查报告称2014年所有设备（包括PC、平板、超移动设备及手机）出货量将达到25亿台，较2013年增长6.9%。Gartner预测，2015年这些设备中的一半将采用安卓系统。

　　Gartner认为整体设备市场开始饱和，利润压力将增加。厂商需要着眼其他方式应对低利润率问题。

　　而手机作为整体市场最大的细分市场，2014年全球总出货量将达到19亿，较2013年增加4.9%。全球平板市场将增长38.6%，PC出货量预计将达2.767亿台。操作系统方面，iOS平板增长已放缓，安卓份额将持续强势增长，Gartner预测2015年安卓占有率将突破50%。

　　Worldwide combined shipments of all devices(PCs, tablets, ultramobiles and mobile phones) are projected to reach 2.5billion units in 2014, a 6.9% increase from 2013, according to analyst groupGartner. This is an increase over last year, when device shipments grew only4.8%.

　　Sales of traditional PCs will continue tohamper the overall growth of devices, but substitution from PC to tablet willdecline. Hybrids and clamshells will see strong growth, but from a low base.

　　"Tablet substitution of notebooks willstart to dissipate from this year onwards as consumers and businesses align theright device with the right usage pattern. As they do this, we will see wherededicated devices (such as tablets), or hybrid devices (detachable orconvertible devices), fit in the overall portfolio of devices," said RanjitAtwal, research director at Gartner.

　　Gartner believes that as the overall devicemarket starts to saturate, the increasing pressure on margins will continue.Vendors will look at different ways to cope with the ongoing issue of lowermargins.

　　“While the trend of declining prices is inevitable, consumersincreasingly value other features in a device — beyond just the price. Forexample, new tablet users look for smaller screens and greater portability,while current tablet users look for better connectivity in their tabletreplacements,” said Atwal.

　　Mobile phones, the largest segment of theoverall device market, are expected to reach 1.9 billion units in 2014, a 4.9%increase from 2013. The growth in 2014 is projected to come from the lower end ofthe premium phone market and the higher end of the basic phone market. The lackof compelling hardware innovation marginally extended replacement cycles in2013, we've witnessed an upgrade path in the emerging markets.

　　In 2014, the worldwide tablet market isforecast to grow 38.6% as overall adoption continues to grow faster in marketsoutside North America. "The adoption of tablets has been largelyconcentrated in the US, with the dominance of Apple. Market dynamics in otherregions are different, as the uptake of lower cost, smaller, non-brandedtablets, becomes more apparent," said Atwal.

　　Worldwide shipments of traditional PCs areforecast to total 276.7 million units in 2014, a 6.6% decline from 2013."The traditional PC category continues to decrease, with only abouttwo-thirds of notebook and desktop replacements remaining within this category.The majority of the remaining one-third will move to ultramobiles, while otherswill not be replaced at all.”

　　In the operating system market, iOS tabletgrowth has slowed in North America and Apple will need to reinvigorate itsreplacement cycle. Android’s share of operating system shipments continues togrow strongly, with Gartner forecasting it to break 50% across all devices in2015.

　　Windows is maintaining its share as Windowstablets and phones supplant PCs, and iOS/Mac is increasing its share a littleas ‘Other’ OSs decline – these are mostly older OSs on so-called ‘featurephones’.
