元器件交易网讯3月27日消息，据外媒报道，三星新产品Gear Fit将采用实时操作系统，续航时间可达3-4天。

　　三星一系列设备涌入可穿戴市场，不仅有全功能智能手表Galaxy Gear 2，还有价格更便宜功能也有所减少的Gear 2 Neo，两款设备均采用三星设计的Tizen系统。另一款专注于健身追踪的产品Gear Fit既不运行安卓也不运行Tizen系统，而是采用一款自定义实时操作系统（RTOS）以便更高效的运行。这款自定义实时操作系统使Gear Fit较Gear 2、Gear 2 Neo有更长的续航时间，可以达到3-4天。

　　Samsung is currentlyflooding the market with wearable devices.It sells the Galaxy Gear 2, which is its full-featured smartwatch, alongsidethe Gear 2 Neo, a cheaper and less feature-packed smartwatch. These two devicesrun a custom operating system designed by Samsung called Tizen.This was a switch from Android, which powered the initial Gear smartwatch.Samsung has one other wearable called the Gear Fit that is smaller and focuseson fitness tracking. Interestingly, it runs neither Android or Tizen. Instead,it uses a custom real-timeoperating system (RTOS)that helps the Gear Fit run efficiently, according to SamMobile.The custom RTOS allows the Gear Fit toachieve 3 to 4 days of battery life, much longer than the Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo.

　　Since the Gear Fit will be running anRTOS, this means developers will not be able to develop apps for it, but onlybe able to send notifications to it. This works similarly toAndroid Wear, Google’s recently announced wearables platform. With Android Wear, developers won’t be able tobuild apps, but they can set what notifications and voice commands will appearon Android smartwatches.
