元器件交易网讯 3月24日消息，据外媒报道，本周星期日泰晤士报采访Nest CEO托尼·法德尔（Tony Fadell），谈论法德尔在被谷歌收购的Nest的工作、他的职业规划等。

　　Last week it was Apple Design VP JonathanIve. This week, the Sunday Times is talking to Google’s Tony Fadell (paywall)about his work at Nest, which was acquired by Google earlier this year, thefuture of his career, and more.

　　A few choice quotes have been highlightedby Rob Richman. In one, Fadell refutes the idea that money ($3.2 billion to beexact) was the driving force behind the Google buyout, saying that bothcompanies working together can produce much bigger results than they couldalone:

　　This was not a financially driventransaction. When you marry for money, it almost never works. We both believewe have something special and we know what it takes to make it happen aroundthe world.

　　Regarding privacy and whether Nest wouldturn over its user data to Google, Fadell said:

　　Nest data is your data and it is going tobe used only to improve the products and services that you buy from us. It isnot going to waltz on over to some other place without you knowing. That wasvery clear when we were doing this deal.
