元器件交易网讯  3月20日消息，据外媒报道，自索尼公司2014年2月将VaioO业务出售给日本工业合作伙伴（JIP）后， 完全停止让台湾Vaio组件供应商供货。据笔记本电脑供应链厂商透露，供应商面临着库存积压。

　　JIP将成立一家新公司接手Vaio业务，但还未安排明确的时间，不过据传新的公司将在5-6月份采购Vaio组件的。

　　大多数的Vaio组件是定制生产的，不能用在由其它厂商开发的笔记本电脑或一体机上，组件供应商需要自己承担风险。（元器件交易网   白玉涛译）

　　Sony has completely stopped taking shipments of Vaio components from Taiwan-based suppliers following its signing with Japan Industrial Partners (JIP) to sell the business in early February 2014, and consequently suppliers are facing a heavy burden from high inventory levels, according to Taiwan-based notebook supply chain makers.

　　JIP will set up a new company to take over Vaio business operations, but there is no schedule yet and therefore Taiwan-based component suppliers have to wait for the new company to take shipments, the sources indicated. It is possible that the new company will begin to take shipments of Vaio components in May-June, the sources said.

　　Most of Vaio components are customized and cannot be used in notebooks or all-in-one PCs developed by other vendors, the sources noted. Thus, Taiwan-based suppliers also have to run the risk of bearing losses if the new company does not take shipments, the sources noted.
