With the arrival of the age of interconnected IOT, the concept of "display everywhere" has a broad prospect, which further stimulates the change of display technology and the development of industrial scale. Since 2013, the annual "China International Display Industry Conference" has been held during the China Electronic Information Expo, which aims to create an interactive platform for sharing and exchanging among the elite of global display enterprises, and to promote the healthy and harmonious development of the display industry. Shenzhen Flat Panel Display Industry Association

SDIA was initiated and established by over 30 industrial leading enterprises on Jan. 30, 2005; the touch screen branch association under SDIA was established in 2009. SDIA is the earliest panel display industry association established in China, with its membership covering both at home and abroad, far beyond the Shenzhen region. Currently, it is one of the largest, the most influential and active panel display industry organizations in China.

Since its establishment, under the leadership and support of Shenzhen Municipality, SDIA keeps on growing. Currently, there are more than 700 members, including TCL, Skyworth, KONKA, Samsung, LG Display, DIC, Nanosys Inc, Merck, CSOT, China Greatwall, SEG, Tianma Micro-electronics, Hefei Lucky, Shenchao Investment, O-Film, CSG Holding, Shantou Goworld, LAIBAO HITECH, SAPO, DGNG, Hivac, Everdisplay Optronics, SELEN, Xianchuang Display, Peking University Shenzhen Research Institute, covering the upstream, midstream and downstream enterprises in the panel display industry, as well as representative institutions, higher education universities, colleges and research institutes.

Currently, SDIA is the only domestic organization in the panel display industry that integrates trade shows, forum, newspaper, magazine, reference books, websites, training and finance. At the beginning since its establishment, SDIA sponsored State level major expos such as China Hi-Tech Fair - Display & Touch Expo and China Information Technology Expo, showing strong expo service advantages.In respect of the media, the International Optoelectronics and Displays series magazine is the earliest domestic professional periodical that promotes optoelectronic display technology, industry and marketing; the chinafpd.net established in March 2006 fully covers the latest information & news in the FPD field both at home and abroad, providing the most complete and quick information service to members. SDIA also helps members apply for government policy support and fund subsidy to the panel display industry; In Dec. 2014, SDIA established the Panel Display Academy to provide professional training for professionals in the industry from time to time to cultivate excellent professional talents; in addition, SDIA further provides all-around services including professional financial service, project application service, business cooperation & investigation, business & investment attraction and industrial planning consultation.
